BOOMN provides a downloadable app for audio content creators to mint NFTs from audio files via its Proof of Sound (PRoS) protocol, which exists on the Polygon blockchain. PRoS is a process that verifies that a certain audio sequence has been created by a specific creator at a particular time and is of a particular duration. The listener confirms the audio by playing it and this process releases digital media that gets minted directly to the listener’s wallet. BOOMN offers two wallet modes—the Creator Profile and Listener Profile—which users can switch between. In the Creator Profile mode, creators can upload their media to the dashboard and distribute it as an NFT to anyone who verifies their PRoS. This can be done in the form of live streams or pre-recorded media. They also have access to new metrics and information from their audiences. In the Listener Profile mode, listeners can verify the PRoS from their favorite creators and gain access to new exclusive content, free merchandise, and concert tickets, among other benefits, by verifying PRoS. Fans can also sell the exclusive content received on the BOOMN marketplace to generate additional income. The $BOOMN token is used for minting NFTs, governance, providing feature access, and staking. BOOMN caters to creators who produce audio including musicians, radio hosts, streamers, and production companies.
