Proofcheck is a Vienna-based AI startup founded in 2022 by Tara Wiẹckowska-Merrigan and Alexandre Paris. The company has developed an AI-powered software platform that centralizes and streamlines content workflows for creators, enabling efficient preparation and refinement of high-value content such as books, white papers, and corporate reports. Proofcheck's product offers visually aware, "pixel-perfect" AI proofing for designed PDFs, which are the industry standard for professional content distribution. The platform utilizes an ensemble of custom-trained open-source models and proprietary algorithms to deliver high-fidelity results while maintaining customer IP security. Additionally, Proofcheck employs its own AI document parser to swiftly identify the constituent parts of designed content, such as body text, titles, and footnotes.
