Eoliann, established in June 2022 in Italy as a benefit corporation, develops solutions to quantify and forecast climate event risks for businesses and financial institutions. The company has created an API infrastructure that connects to satellite data sources from the European Space Agency and NASA to process and analyze information about natural disasters. Using proprietary machine learning algorithms and data science capabilities, Eoliann processes large quantities of data to predict the probability and impact of catastrophic natural events while accounting for climate change effects. The technology aggregates and analyzes multiple data sources, including satellite data, to provide analytics on territory and infrastructure conditions.
