Roots Homes

Roots Homes is a fractional home ownership platform that allows users to contribute monthly payments toward a co-owned property. The platform is focused on serving millennials and Gen-Z people by operating a property co-ownership model with a rent-to-buy scheme of a minimum 12-month tenure on homes.

The platform allows the co-owners to purchase the property by charging a 4% commission on the purchase price at the time of sale. It handles all property-related maintenance tasks, utilities and tax payments, insurance, and other related tasks, charging 90% of the resident’s monthly contribution toward handling such concierge services. The remaining 10% of the monthly contribution is allocated toward saving and accumulation of the owner's home equity.

As of January 2023, the platform featured properties across the Las Vegas area.
