Enliven is a Dutch company that leverages VR for social issues, including bullying, discrimination, inequality, and sexual harassment. The company develops empathy-based training to prevent physical and emotional violence at home and in the workplace. Enliven aims to increase awareness and empathy by allowing users to experience simulations from a target’s point of view. The VR simulations have been validated by healthcare and security professionals including the Ministry of Justice and Security, the National Police, the Public Prosecution Service, Probation Service Netherlands, and the Child Protection Board. The company generates revenue by charging for each simulation view.
