Agreed Earth's platform utilizes remote sensing technology, combining tractor and satellite data, to generate an auditable health index based on the usage of nitrogen-containing chemicals. This allows farmers to monitor their progress toward operating a lower-nitrogen farm.

The company offers a free service that connects farmers to peers with similar operations who have successfully implemented sustainable practices. Agreed Earth provides benchmarking, measurement, and verification of emissions reductions as farmers transition. This data-driven approach helps banks and financial institutions support their farming clients in meeting increasing legislative requirements for climate risk disclosure and emissions reduction plans. In September 2022, Agreed Earth secured funding from Regenerate Ventures to develop reference clients in the UK, where the addressable market for their services was estimated at GBP 800 million.
