Tally Health develops an epigenetic age test and provides personalized lifestyle recommendations and longevity supplements.

The company’s TallyAge test is a non-invasive, painless cheek swab that measures DNA methylation.

This test is claimed to be built using an in-house dataset that includes more than 8,000 people, spans a chronological age range of 18–100 years, and represents diverse demographic groups. Its longevity supplements include Vitality and Amplify.

Vitality is a longevity-focused supplement formulated to target 12 hallmarks of biological aging. It claims to enhance critical functions needed for cellular repair and energy and promote peak epigenetic function. The company claims that this formula showed efficacy in promoting longevity and improving health spans in small mammals. This supplement is claimed to induce autophagy, a natural cellular process that recycles old and damaged cells, providing a key mitochondrial metabolite required for energy production. In addition, it is said to activate sirtuin proteins that modify our epigenome, regulate repair processes, and remove senescent cells.

Its Amplify supplement is available exclusively to members as a subscription add-on.

The product is a blend of glycine, berberine, and urolithin A, which the company claims to have shown to enhance metabolic health, boost cellular energy, and improve mitochondrial function. These ingredients target established hallmarks of aging and are claimed to have extended the lifespan and health span in complex model organisms. It is also claimed that this supplement activates the metabolic sensor and pro-longevity enzyme, AMPK, which mimics the benefits of caloric restriction by clearing out the pro-aging amino acid methionine, boosting muscle function and exercise performance.

As of October 2023, the company offers packages with its tests and supplements ranging from USD 129–199 per month. In addition, Amplify supplement can be added to any plan with a monthly subscription of USD 59 per month. Its test alone can be purchased at USD 229 per test.

Funds and financials

In April 2023, the company raised USD 10 million in a seed round led by Forerunner Ventures. The funds were to be used for the expansion of research and development, as well as various other technical, business, and strategic development efforts.
