Vaultik

Vaultik (formerly known as Mintouge) is a London-based FinTech startup that offers a proprietary blockchain-based platform for the luxury goods industry. It provides digital product passports, which serve as certificates of ownership and authenticity for luxury products such as watches, jewelry, leather goods, and furniture. The passports provide a range of information about the product including supply chain information, ownership history, and real-time valuation for authenticated resale. They are securely stored on a blockchain and are tied to the product through Vaultik's triple-factor authentication system.

Vaultik's solution also offers integrated on-chain insurance coverage, offering up to 90% protection against theft, loss, damage, and counterfeiting. The insurance premiums are paid by the partner brands rather than the customers, with the closed-loop system acting as an alternate revenue stream for brands while increasing customer loyalty and retention. It also planned to introduce several features, including an augmented reality (AR) tool that enables the item holder to try on their products in a virtual space, as well as a specialized repairs service.

Key customers and partnerships

As of October 2024, Vaultik served small and large luxury brands, including NIX Time, Luxe Dressing, and Panerai. It also offers a number of integrations through an ecosystem of third-party platforms and tools such as Salesforce, Shopify, Snapchat, Avata, and Meta.
