Fubo is a live TV streaming service that launched in 2015 as a soccer-focused platform before expanding into a comprehensive cable TV alternative. The service offers multiple channel packages with a strong emphasis on sports programming, including more than 55,000 live sporting events annually. Fubo's base package includes over 200 channels spanning sports, news, entertainment and lifestyle content. The platform differentiates itself by offering select sports content in 4K resolution, a feature it first introduced in June 2018 with FIFA World Cup coverage. As of Q3 2023, Fubo had 1.48 million subscribers in North America. A key feature is its unlimited cloud DVR storage that allows users to record and access content across devices. The service enables multiview functionality on Apple TV devices, allowing viewers to watch up to four simultaneous streams. In January 2024, Warner Bros. Discovery content including Discovery Channel, Food Network, and HGTV was removed from the platform.
