Catalia Health offers a personal healthcare companion device, “Mabu”, for homecare, to help patients adhere to medication in an engaging manner. The device and complementing platform Mabu Care Insights Platform combines robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies.
The device learns the interests and challenges of its users and creates customized conversations. The conversation platform can be deployed through multiple interfaces such as the Mabu device, mobile apps, text, and web. Catalia Health primarily targets elders with chronic illnesses, such as rheumatoid arthritis, late-stage kidney disease, and congestive heart failure.
