Statkraft has signed a deal to supply German telecommunications giant Deutsche Telekom with power from wind farms no longer eligible for government subsidies. It will supply Power & Air Solutions, energy supplier for Deutsche Telekom companies, with 920GWh between 2023 and 2028.

Aker Offshore wind

Aker Offshore Wind, Ocean Winds, and Statkraft have signed a collaboration agreement to bid for, develop, construct, and operate offshore wind and associated infrastructure for the Utsira Nord license area in Norway. The equal partnership will submit an application to the Norwegian authorities for the development of a commercial scale floating offshore wind farm in the Utsira Nord license area in the Norwegian North Sea.

BP today agreed to join Statkraft and Aker Offshore Wind in a consortium bidding to develop offshore wind energy in Norway. The partnership – in which bp, Statkraft and Aker Offshore Wind will each hold a 33.3% share – will pursue a bid to develop offshore wind power in the Sørlige Nordsjø II (SN2) licence area.

Aker Offshore Wind and its majority owner Aker Horizons AS have entered into a cooperation agreement with Statkraft AS  to explore possibilities for collaboration on offshore wind power projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. will The companies will work together and utilize their complementary skills and expertise to explore the possibility to develop and operate large-scale offshore wind parks in Norway.
