 Nebius, the provider of AI infrastructure, has recently obtained USD 700 million through a private placement comprising of 33.3 million shares sold at USD 21 each. Companies like NVIDIA, Accel, and Orbis Investments were among the investors who participated in this round, apart from a few others who chose to remain undisclosed.
 The funds raised will be utilized to increase Nebius' data center capacity in the United States and in other markets. Nebius has plans to triple its Finland facility's capacity to 75 MW and is also looking forward to opening three more facilities; one in North America and two in Europe. As a part of this deal, Matt Weigand, partner at Accel, will join Nebius' board as an observer after a formal election at the 2025 shareholder meeting.
 The AI Infrastructure provider recently launched an AI Studio service which offers access to hosted versions of open-source models that can process up to 10 million tokens per minute.
