LabCycle is a UK-based plastic recycling startup focused on processing waste in the research and healthcare sectors. LabCycle manages waste sorting systems and decontamination technologies to streamline lab waste streams. The company’s proprietary sorting system separates plastics by colors and materials and its decontamination process removes lab contaminants.
LabCycle recycles single-use plastic waste into safety level 1 and 2 laboratory products. The company initially piloted its technology to recycle disposable plastic consumables in the National Health Service (NHS), UK, for a circular plastic supply chain in the industry.
