KP Frozen Foods

King Parrot Frozen Foods (KPFF) is a British food manufacturer and wholesaler that produces frozen air fryer-ready meals. As of October 2024, the company offers an extensive range of over 200 products across nine frozen food categories. KPFF's product lineup features various "fakeaways" and chip-shop favorites, such as Salt and Pepper Chicken, Katsu Chicken Curry, Kebab, Sausages, Chips & Gravy, and Chip Shop-Style Curry & Chips. The meals can be prepared in air fryers or conventional ovens, with a preparation time of under 20 minutes.

As of October 2024, KPFF claimed to be the first to market in Britain with a range of air fryer meals, catering to the growing popularity of air fryers in UK households. The company also claims its meals contain less than 915 calories per 450 g serving. KPFF’s products use a flat rate pricing of GBP 2.49 (~USD 3.23) for all 450 g meal packs.

The company developed a fully integrated "direct to store" supply chain solution to streamline its distribution process. The system allows store staff to place orders through the company's website, with deliveries made directly to stores the next day. Orders are processed at KPFF's 4,500 pallet frozen distribution center in Birkenhead, where it claims picking begins immediately upon order confirmation. The company's location near Liverpool and the M53 motorway enables it to serve frozen food retailers across the UK quickly. 

In November 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic, KPFF launched its retail outlet, “OOPS!.” However, in September 2022, the retail chain closed down eight of its nine stores in England, following rising costs, and refocused on its KPFF wholesale operation.
