Verisart

Verisart is a British-patented NFT minting and certification platform for creators and collectors alike. This Web3 platform allows creators to create, mint, sell, and connect with collectors across digital and physical spaces.

Its platform uses Web3 and blockchain technology to allow creators to choose their blockchain, create smart contracts, and list on multiple marketplaces. Verisart has a growing community with more than 95,000 certified works. Moreover, all NFTs on the platform are integrated with a certificate of authenticity (COA).

Its products also include secure NFC tags for linking physical and digital art as well as a Shopify app and WooCommerce for seamless ecommerce integration. The company has developed significant features like tokengating and phygital solutions, which provide a blended physical and digital experience for art collectors. 

Key customers and partnerships

Verisart platform attracts both traditional artists and digital creators. As of April 2024, it had more than 50,000 creators and brands, including high-profile names such as Shepard Fairey, Johnny Depp, and Refik Anadol.

It has a multi-year partnership with Artsystems to integrate its fine arts management and blockchain certification solutions for Artsystems’ galleries, collections, art studios, and foundations worldwide. 

Verisart also established a partnership with Vouched in April 2021 to apply the latter’s unique digital identity verification technology to Verisart’s blockchain certification platform. 

Funding and financials

As of April 2024, Verisart had raised a total of USD 5 million across multiple funding rounds with participation from notable investors including Rhodium and Galaxy Interactive. Its last funding round took place In March 2021, where it raised USD 2 million in a convertible note.
