VivoSecurity was founded on the need to monetize cyber- risk for the enterprise without the conflict of interest that arises from selling cyber-security solutions. Their product is information; and they have an incentive to be as accurate and useful as possible. Headquartered in the heart of Silicon Valley, VivoSecurity started in 2010 and had the first alpha product in the fall of 2012. They began searching for beta-sites in December 2012 and established their first beta-site in January 2013. They now have multiple beta sites and have started expanding their staff with statisticians, marketing, business development, engineering and support.
