AmPro Innovations is an Australia-based company that specializes in industrial-grade metal 3D printing equipment, printing material process development, and sales. It offers a range of 3D printers based on selective laser melting (SLM) technology, including SP101 (for research and dentistry applications), SP261 (for parts production with high build rates), SP401 (for medium-scale production), SP501 (for high-volume production), SP801 (a large format system for high-performance industries), and SP1200 (a large format system for high-performance applications). AmPro also offers an automated powder management system, which is designed to recover, reuse, and recycle additive manufacturing powders. The system is designed to integrate with AmPro Innovations' 3D printers, ensuring zero open powder handling and a fully closed-system powder handling suite.

AmPro Innovations' 3D printers are designed to use small powder volumes, making them more efficient and cost-effective. It also uses multiple-axis laser scanning technology to produce complex geometries with high precision. 

Key customers and partnerships

In April 2020, Australian metal additive manufacturing provider Amaero introduced AmPro Innovations 3D printers, including the SP500 and SP100 laser powder bed fusion platforms, to the US market through its new California facility, aiming to boost machine sales in the region.
