ApplyBoard is an online platform that simplifies the international student recruitment process by connecting students, recruitment partners, and academic institutions. Founded in 2015 by brothers Martin, Meti, and Massi Basiri, the company has grown to become the world's largest online platform for international student recruitment. ApplyBoard's technology allows students to search, apply, and gain acceptance to programs and schools that align with their background, skills, and interests across Canada, the US, the UK, Australia, and Ireland. The platform provides a single, easy-to-use interface for students to apply to over 1,500 primary, secondary, and post-secondary educational institutions. ApplyBoard's services include comprehensive information on global institutions, programs, and application processes, as well as personalized guidance based on each student's unique profile. In June 2024, ApplyBoard launched Abbie, an AI advisor powered by Microsoft Azure's OpenAI platform, designed to provide instant, tailored support to students and recruitment agents throughout the study abroad journey. The company has assisted more than 1 million students from over 150 countries with their educational journeys since its inception. ApplyBoard has received recognition for its rapid growth, ranking on the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 and Fast 500 lists for four consecutive years as of 2022.
