Peraso Inc. (Nasdaq: PRSO) is a pioneer in mmWave technology, focusing on the development of 60 GHz unlicensed and 5G mmWave wireless solutions. Peraso's mmWave solutions offer low latency, high reliability, and multi-gigabit throughput. The company's technology enables wireless, low-latency, high-speed communication comparable to wired LAN over distances extending hundreds of meters. Peraso's X720 chipset operates over the entire 57-71 GHz unlicensed band with high transmit output power. The company's PERSPECTUS family of modules allows for rapid development of low-cost network equipment utilizing over 14 GHz of V-band spectrum to provide multi-gigabit access services.

In June 2023, Peraso collaborated with pSemi to develop an RF solution for mmWave fixed wireless access customer premises equipment (CPE) using Peraso's PRS1520 beamformer RFIC and pSemi's PE128300 up-down converter. This collaboration aims to reduce the number of components and cost for RF modules in FWA applications. In April 2024, Peraso announced that its X710 chipset had been adopted by Panasonic System Networks R&D Lab Co., Ltd. (PSNRD) for a new 60 GHz WLAN solution, capable of achieving wireless high-speed, low latency communication equivalent to wired LAN over distances of hundreds of meters.

Key customers and partnerships

Peraso has established partnerships with several companies to integrate its mmWave technology into various applications. In July 2023, Peraso announced a collaboration with Jaguar Wave Technology for the production of the JW-PTP6150/51 product family, a new point-to-point (PtP) and point-to-multipoint (PtMP) solution for 60 GHz unlicensed Fixed Wireless Access networks.

In April 2024, Panasonic System Networks R&D Lab Co., Ltd. (PSNRD) adopted Peraso's X710 chipset for its new 60 GHz WLAN solution. This partnership with a global consumer and enterprise technology leader demonstrates the growing adoption of Peraso's technology in the industry.

In July 2024, Tachyon Networks Inc. announced the expansion of its range of high-gain antenna kits to enhance its TNA-303X 60GHz terminal, which is powered by Peraso's mmWave Perspectus modules and X720 chipset. This collaboration highlights Peraso's role in enabling wireless internet service providers (WISPs) and closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems to deliver multi-gigabit speeds and reliability comparable to fiber or cable.
