Talent Garden

Founded in 2011, Talent Garden is an Italian company that offers networking and skills development-focused business training courses as well as digital coworking solutions. The company processes around 20,000 students a year both online and across its 20 campuses in Europe, and offers its corporate learning services to several large companies such as Cisco, Google, Roche, Accenture, and Facebook. 

In November 2021, Talent Garden acquired a 54% majority stake in Hyper Island, an online business school, for an undisclosed amount. This acquisition helps Talent Garden expand its digital education segment (which reportedly accounts for 80% of its business) and extend its global footprint through Hyper Island’s existing network of physical campuses in the UK, US, Singapore, and Brazil. The combined entity will reportedly employ around 250 professionals and hundreds of speakers, facilitators, and trainers across three continents. The company also expects the combined entity to achieve a revenue figure of EUR 50 million (USD 56.8 million) in FY2022, with around 20,000 professionals trained, and over 5,000 students met with employment opportunities.

The company’s last funding round took place in January 2021 when it raised USD 10.4 million as part of an on-going Series B funding round (worth USD 49.5 million at the time) led by 500 Global and Social Capital.
