Fhenix is an EVM compliant layer-1 blockchain powered by fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) technology, which enables secure and private blockchain transactions. FHE allows encrypted data to be processed directly from the start, preserving privacy throughout transactions and smart contract executions. Its modular design facilitates seamless integration of FHE computation in all blockchain data layers as well as easy deployment of confidential smart contracts on public blockchains.
In June 2024, the company released the initial version of the Fhenix testnet, Helium, allowing developers to deploy their confidential smart contracts to the network using FHE to encrypt their application.
Funding and financials
In June 2024, the company raised USD 15 million in June 2024 in a Series A funding round led by Hack VC to further expand operations and its development efforts.
