Vayu Robotics, a robotics and AI company, develops a last/middle-mile delivery robot called the “Vayu One,” designed to autonomously navigate stores, streets, sidewalks, and driveways at speeds of up to 20 mph without the need for LiDAR sensors or pre-mapping roads.
The Vayu One combines a transformer-based mobility foundation model with passive sensors, for autonomous navigation. The robot can carry up to 100 pounds of cargo traveling at a maximum speed of 20 mph. The robots can navigate indoor and outdoor environments including city streets.
