Skriware uses 3D printing to develop creative problem solving skills in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) fields. To this end, the company’s products include 3D printers, a STEAM education platform, a modular robot building system, and online tools.
In June 2019, Skriware raised USD 1.62 million in Series A funding from Montis Capital. The funds will be used for product development and to expand into the US and EMEA markets.
In February 2021, the company partnered with Polish 3D printer manufacturer Zortrax to incorporate Zortrax M200 Plus 3D printers in SkriLabs, a classroom environment that allows schools to use new technologies. The companies’ first joint project is placing a bid for the delivery of SkriLab workshops to more than 4,500 schools in Poland under the government-backed “Active Blackboard 2020-2024” program.
