Indo-US-based Hiver is an after-sales service solution provider that claims to be the first Gmail-based helpdesk to offer a shared-inbox management system. The platform was exclusively an email collaboration solution but pivoted to a multichannel approach with the launch of its live chat feature in March 2022. The platform features campaign automation (email, live chat), automated workflows, reporting and analytics as well as collaborative functionality such as email assignment, tagging, alerts, notes, email templates, and workload management. 

Hiver claimed to increase automation by 50%, improve customer support efficiency by 2x, and improve overall efficiency by 20%.  

Key customers and partnerships

The platform caters to client services and support teams across a range of industries, including logistics, real estate, travel, manufacturing, education, non-profits, information technology, and financial services.As of March 2022, the platform has served more than 8,000+ teams across 1,500+ companies across 30 countries, which included Harvard University, AppsFlyer, Upwork.com, Vacasa, and Kiwi.com.

Funding and financials

In March 2022, the company raised USD 22 million in a Series B funding round led by K1 Capital. It planned to use the funds for marketing and sales as well as to expand the team. It also planned to achieve an annual run rate (ARR) of USD 100 million in the next four to five years. Meanwhile, the company reported that the US market contributed 50% of its revenue.
