Yardi Systems

Founded in 1984, Yardi Systems initially provided basic solutions for the real estate sector (e.g., accounting, etc.) but has evolved significantly over time to become the leader in property management software. As of December 2020, the company operates in 40 offices and employs more than 6,000 professionals across North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.

Yardi provides integrated property management and investment management software for all real estate verticals, enabling managers, property owners, investors, and other stakeholders to access information in one platform. It has different software to cater to different needs (multi-family, commercial, etc.). Many of the top multi-family property management companies in the US use its systems (Greystar, The Bozzuto Group, RAM Partners, Pegasus Residential, etc.). 

In order to improve the user experience for its clients, Yardi offers a standard interface partnership program to third-party vendors that wish to integrate with its system. To date, Yardi has collaborated with more than 200 vendors, including various property management and transaction startups. Startups are interested in this partnership program due to Yardi’s large customer base. 

Moreover, Yardi has acquired 13 companies in total, including property management and transaction startups, such as DIY Real Estate Solutions (property management software for individuals and managers handling less than 1,000 apartment units), RentGrow (tenant screening), and others in order to expand its capabilities.
