Cellwize

Cellwize is a provider of cloud-native, multi-vendor Radio Access Network (RAN) automation and orchestration software solutions. Its flagship product, CHIME, is a platform that connects RAN, vRAN, and Open RAN systems to applications, enabling 5G and Open RAN readiness for mobile network operators (MNOs). CHIME leverages artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies for zero-touch 5G deployments, automating network optimization across 2G/3G/4G/5G networks, and delivering mobile network assurance capabilities.

By leveraging CHIME's open architecture and open API layer, MNOs can accelerate their 5G deployment by automating key business processes in the RAN domain. The platform allows operators to add self-created network applications on top of a multi-vendor RAN ecosystem with ease, delivering high quality of service, improved customer experience, accelerated time-to-market, and reduced costs. As of June 2022, Cellwize's solutions supported over 800 million subscribers globally across more than 40 MNO customers.

In June 2022, Cellwize was acquired by Qualcomm Technologies for approximately USD 350 million. The acquisition aimed to strengthen Qualcomm's ability to drive the development of modern 5G networks, accelerating Open RAN global adoption, cloud-based cellular infrastructure innovation, and 5G private network deployments.
