The company's solution, Carbon Hub, integrates disparate data sources, including operational data, emissions measurements, and regulatory frameworks, to offer streamlined regulatory reporting, real-time emissions monitoring, and advanced scenario modeling capabilities.

Validere's platform enables energy companies to centralize and validate emissions data, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with various regulatory frameworks such as the Federal GHGRP, NPRI, MSAPR, Alberta's TIER, SGRR, AMR and AEIR, British Columbia's GGRR, and Saskatchewan's MRGHG and OGEMR. The platform also incorporates equipment-level inventory, operating conditions, aerial imagery data, and real-time measurements from Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS) to provide a comprehensive emissions baseline.

Through real-time alerting and tracking, Validere's solution allows businesses to identify and respond promptly to operational challenges, optimizing resource allocation and minimizing emissions while increasing profitability. Additionally, the scenario modeling capabilities enable companies to devise strategies to reduce their carbon footprint, optimize resource consumption, and align with emerging sustainability goals.

In May 2022, Validere acquired Clairifi, a SaaS company focused on environmental and regulatory compliance, to strengthen its ESG offerings and enhance its predictive capabilities for precise emissions forecasting and modeling. The acquisition of Phoenix Energy Marketing Consultants in January 2022 further expanded Validere's reach in Western Canada, allowing the company to offer transportation and marketing optimization services to its clients.

Key customers and partnerships

Validere's client base includes over 50 of North America's leading energy companies, such as Vermilion Energy Inc., PureWest Energy, LLC, and two supermajor producers. In October 2022, PureWest Energy selected Validere as its emissions quantification and reconciliation solution, leveraging the Carbon Hub platform and Validere's industry experts to synthesize emissions and operational data, informing PureWest's carbon reduction strategies.
