Edonia is a French food technology company that produces sustainable plant-based proteins. The company has developed a unique technology called “Edonization,” which uses microalgae to produce a clean, nutrient-rich protein ingredient. This ingredient claims to offer a meat-like texture and grilled umami flavor profile, without the use of additives or artificial flavoring. Edonia’s first product, Edo-1, is expected to launch into the market by the end of 2024 with commercial proofs of concept.
