 Vectorious is actively conducting clinical studies in Europe (Italy, Germany, UK and Israel) for the purpose of obtaining a CE mark. It is expected to launch a clinical study in the US in 2020.

Extended Reality

MediView is a MedTech company that leverages AR, telecollaboration, and data-driven insights to improve diagnostic imaging, surgical navigation, and clinical efficiencies. MediView's remote connectivity enables medical professionals to connect and collaborate remotely through shared communication, visualization, and holographic guidance. Moreover, MediView records the data generated during holographic procedures to provide insights to medical professionals. In addition, Mediview offers a training environment for students at sonography and echo programs, nursing schools, physician assistant schools, medical schools, and veterinary schools.The company provides three solutions, MediScout (XR30), MediView XR50, and MediView XR90, at various stages of development. MediScout is a commercially available FDA Class I medical device, offering a collaborative and ergonomic ultrasound imaging solution. The XR50, to be submitted for FDA clearance, is an ultrasound imaging solution for needle-based procedures. The XR90, MediView's flagship product, is an FDA cleared imaging and navigation system for soft tissue and bone procedures, providing a clear view of the patient's internal anatomy via holographic surgical navigation (3D x-ray vision). In March 2024, a study published on the Journal of Medical Imaging found the XR90 accurate enough to carry out procedures with clinical precision.Key customers and partnershipsMediView provides its solutions in partnership with GE Healthcare and Microsoft by integrating Microsoft's HoloLens 2 head-mounted display and GE's Vivid iq ultrasound system. In November 2022, Mediview collaborated with GE to develop the OmnifyXR Interventional Suite System, which is intended to improve ergonomics with natural interactions for optimum workflow and facilitate care team cooperation.Funding and financialsIn <a href="https://sp-edge.com/updates/18603">May 2023</a>, the company raised USD 15 million in a strategic funding round with participation from Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, and GE HealthCare, among others. Funds were earmarked to create and enhance the company’s multi-level platform, prioritizing activities such as generating more clinical evidence, developing new products, protecting intellectual property, meeting regulatory requirements, achieving commercial goals, and launching new products.

Cleveland Diagnostics is a commercial-stage diagnostics company developing efficacious, lab-friendly, affordable diagnostics tests using proprietary technology to improve cancer diagnostics. Its solvent interaction analysis technology investigates protein biomarkers at the structural level, providing better and more direct insights regarding the protein origin on the cellular level, thus improving test specificity to the underlying disease process. Its portfolio of non-invasive cancer diagnostics will be expanding from prostate cancer to breast cancer and lung cancer, and certain neurological diseases.

NeuroTherpia, Inc., founded in 2015 by Drs. Mohamed Naguib and Joseph Foss, is developing new therapies for diseases with an underlying component of neuroinflammation. Initial research has led to the development of our lead compound NTRX-07. NTRX-07 (previously known as MDA7) has been shown to decrease activation of microglial cells in the brain. Decreasing activation of these cells leads to decreased inflammation and decreased injury to surrounding nerve cells. Decreasing this inflammation can treat and even prevent the development of neuropathic pain in settings of nerve injury or chemotherapy. Recent work has shown that blocking this inflammation is also important in reversing the effects seen in Alzheimer's disease. We are currently doing preclinical safety studies and plan on studying NTRX-07 in humans in 2016.

Cardionomic treats reduced cardiac output – ADHF’s root cause – by neuromodulating the terminal branches of the cardiac plexus to benignly increase contractility. Cardionomic’s acute, non-systemic therapy will improve cardiac output, renal blood flow, urine production, and pharmacological tolerance. Concurrently the therapy also achieves the associated decreases in plasma norepinephrine (NE) and B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP), which are objective biomarkers of chronic heart failure.

Coaches can be accessed via scheduled meetings or on -demand as crisis management.  Available anytime, anywhere the low cost support democratizes addiction support while eliminating traditional barriers to accessing support such as access to transportation, rural settings, fear of stigma, and scheduling conflicts.  All coaches are trained and certified by a state government in both addiction and mental health.  Coaches adhere to the critical philosophy of multiple pathways of recovery. Coaches all have lived experience and have related real life experience and have successfully stayed in remission from acute symptoms of relapsing for a number of years.

SironRX is developing novel therapies exclusively licensed from Juventas Therapeutics and Cleveland Clinic that promote dermal wound repair and reduce scarring. Our lead product is a clinically tested biopharmaceutical that encodes Stromal cell-Derived Factor-1 (SDF-1). SDF-1 is key molecule responsible for activating natural repair processes after tissue injury through prevention of cell death and recruitment of stem cells to the damaged organ. Studies from several laboratories suggest the therapeutic potential of SDF-1 for treatment of a range of wounds such as post-surgical incisions, chronic diabetic ulcers and burns. Development of a cost-effective interactive wound therapy that can be topically administered at the site-of-injury or in chronic wound care settings with the potential to significantly improve function of the damaged tissue will have a major impact on the multi-billion dollar advanced wound management market.
