Bridewell is a UK-based cybersecurity services and managed detection and response (MDR) firm, offering services across cybersecurity consulting and transformation, managed security, penetration testing, and data privacy. The firm offers customizable cybersecurity solutions, allowing organizations to combine and select services as required.

Bridewell operates an around-the-clock security operations center (SOC) in Wales, providing threat monitoring and MDR services covering cloud, endpoint, networks, and on-premises telemetry. Customers can elect to outsource operations entirely to Bridewell or incorporate the firm’s security specialists into existing cybersecurity teams. Bridewell leverages Microsoft’s Sentinel security information and event management (SIEM) platform for rapid deployment of MDR services with new customers, before going on to tailor services based on client requirements, technology, and objectives. 

The firm expanded into North America in March 2022, opening an office in Houston, Texas, to cater to existing clients in the region.

Funding and financials

Bridewell raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Growth Capital Partners in April 2021. The funds were expected to be used to implement international expansion plans, scale existing operations, and enhance product offerings.
