Memora Health, founded in 2017, offers an intelligent care enablement platform that digitizes and automates clinical workflows to streamline care delivery for patients and healthcare providers. The San Francisco-based company's platform uses AI and natural language processing to provide patients with conversational, SMS-based care journeys that adapt to their communication preferences. Memora's technology integrates with existing electronic health record systems and offers tools for remote patient monitoring, scheduling, virtual care, and outcomes management.

The platform proactively engages patients through text messages, delivering personalized care plans, educational information, symptom monitoring, and appointment reminders. It uses AI to triage patient-reported concerns and automatically handle routine tasks while escalating more complex issues to the appropriate care team members. This approach aims to reduce the administrative burden on clinicians, allowing them to focus on top-of-license practice.

As of August 2024, Memora Health had developed care programs across several clinical areas, including oncology, cardiology, maternal health, and population health. The company's platform has demonstrated high patient engagement rates, with reported 74%–75% sustained engagement over several months. As of 2023, Memora had partnered with over 50 healthcare organizations.

Since its launch in 2017, Memora Health has partnered with healthcare providers including the Mayo Clinic, Intermountain Health, and Penn Medicine.

In December 2022, Memora and perinatal and prenatal health AI company PeriGen partnered to coordinate healthcare services for women from childbirth to postpartum. The partnership enabled patients to receive continued care from labor and delivery to post-discharge of patients across the US. The partnership leveraged Memora’s instant messaging, reminders, data analytics, and scheduling along with PeriGen’s early warning systems and AI-based clinical decision support tools to provide care.

In February 2022, Memora Health partnered with Virtua Health, one of the largest healthcare providers in South Jersey, to streamline care delivery and improve overall patient experience. Through this partnership, Memora digitized workflows and automated routine care tasks for Virtua Health.
