Y Combinator graduate Thunkable offers a no-code platform that enables users to build mobile applications for every major operating system, including IOS and Android, using a drag-and-drop interface. The platform also provides over 50 pre-built design components, animations, and logic blocks and over 20 extensible integrations to third-party apps such as Figma, Airtable, and Google sheets (as of February 2024).
In January 2023, Thunkable launched a suite of collaboration and administration tools named “Thunkable Organizations”, to enable enterprise teams to develop, test, and deploy mobile apps. The new solution also introduced administrative features to enable managers to have more control of the development process.
Key customers and partnerships
As of April 2022, the platform served over 3 million users from 184 countries, with more than 6 million apps created. As of February 2024, the company served a number of large enterprises such as Wayfair, NTT Data, John Deere, Ring, Salesforce, and Boeing.
Funding and financials
In April 2022, Thunkable raised USD 30 million in Series B funding led by Owl Ventures to invest in product development (including more tools to build apps), a larger marketplace for third-party creators to add their own templates, and an expansion into enterprise use cases such as building internal applications.
