Arch Systems offers data analytics solutions targeting electronics manufacturers. The analytics platform can be deployed in factory-wide operations or across multiple factories to connect new and existing equipment and collect data to generate useful insights. These insights are used to improve the productivity of operations, quality of products manufactured, and also for predictive maintenance.

Arch Systems’ core product is the ArchFX platform, which consists of several subunits: 1) ArchFX Connectors - a set of hardware and software connectors that link all the machines to collect data; 2) ArchFX Broker, which enables the capturing of collected data into a centralized location; 3) ArchFX Cloud, which stores collected data and runs reports on-demand; 4) ArchFX Global KPIs, which provides an up-to-date view of manufacturing performance; and 5) ArchFX Analytics, which offers predictive insights by analyzing collected data. As of July 2022, the company had two more offerings in the pipeline: 1) Action Management System - an enterprise control room that offers insights on corrective actions to speed up the decision-making process and 2) Production Insights - a subset of ArchFX Analytics that allows individual factories to access large enterprise datasets.

ArchFX is available across three formats: 1) on a subscription basis (data analytics-as-a-service), 2) as a software development toolkit (SDK), and 3) as an application programming interface (API) that allows integration with third-party dashboarding and advanced data analytics predictive tools from Tableau, Thoughtspot, AWS, Azure, and TensorFlow.

Key customers and partnerships

As of July 2022, the ArchFX platform was used by manufacturers in over 15 countries connecting 5,000+ machines. In December 2023, the company also partnered with Plexus, an industrial manufacturing and engineering services company, to implement ArchFX across its surface-mount technology lines within its production facilities globally. Arch went on to enter a three-year strategic partnership with Jabil, a global manufacturing solutions provider, in January 2024, to enhance the latter’s internal systems.

In December 2023, the company partnered with Aegis Software, a manufacturing operations management software (MOM/MES) provider, to develop an AI copilot solution for manufacturers. The solution enables users to enhance their data with contextualized product design and human operator interaction data provided by Aegis’ FactoryLogix solution, generate process improvements, and implement them automatically on the shop floor.
