AppYea is a medical device technology company specializing in wearable solutions for monitoring and treating sleep disorders. The company's flagship product, AppySleep, is a compact smart wristband designed to alleviate snoring through behavior modification. Incorporating multiple sensors, AppySleep interfaces with a smartphone app via Bluetooth to actively monitor breathing patterns during sleep. When it detects consecutive snores, the wristband gently vibrates, prompting the user to adjust their sleeping position and cease snoring naturally.

The key differentiator of AppySleep lies in its user-friendly design and gradual training approach. Over several weeks of continuous use, users acclimate to sleeping in a correct and healthy position, significantly reducing or eliminating snoring. The app allows users to customize the algorithm's parameters, such as sensitivity and vibration frequency, according to personal preferences.

AppYea acquired SleepX, a medical device company focused on developing a wearable sleep apnea monitor called DreamIT, in January 2022. Following the acquisition, SleepX became a fully owned AppYea subsidiary operating under its brand name, focused on further developing and commercializing the DreamIT solution. In August 2023, AppYea secured a US patent for an innovative speech analysis method to estimate sleep apnea severity, extending its intellectual property portfolio.

AppySleep entered its commercial phase in January 2024, with the first deliveries reaching customers in the US Initially available for purchase online, the company plans to expand sales through US and international retailers in the next rollout phase. With an attractive price point of less than USD 100, AppySleep aims to become an accessible consumer product in the market.
