Credence MedSystems is an innovator of drug delivery systems that solve unmet market needs for the pharmaceutical industry. The company's core product offerings include the Companion product family, which adds end-of-dose cues and automatic needle retraction to prefilled syringes, and the Dual Chamber Reconstitution System, which simplifies the delivery of complex drug products requiring separation of components during storage. Credence's products aim to improve safety, ease of use, and sustainability while preserving existing pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. The company's philosophy of "Innovation Without Change" allows pharmaceutical manufacturers to enhance their products while maintaining their sourcing strategies and preferred primary packaging components.
In 2024, Credence MedSystems successfully completed Factory Acceptance Testing for production of its Companion injection device platform on a new Clinical Assembly Line. This line, developed in collaboration with Mikron Automation, is designed to produce up to 500,000 units per year of various configurations of the Companion and Dual Chamber product lines. The Clinical Assembly Line enables Credence to support pharmaceutical customers' combination product development activities, including device verification & validation, drug stability studies, and clinical trials.
