In September 2022, Neogen completed a merger with 3 million's Food Safety business, significantly expanding its food safety capabilities and global presence. This combination created a leading innovator with enhanced geographic footprint, product offerings, and digitization capabilities. The merger added over 100,000 end-user customers across more than 60 countries and positioned Neogen to capitalize on growth trends in sustainability, food safety, and supply chain integrity. As part of its growth strategy, Neogen is investing USD 70 million to expand its Lansing headquarters, including constructing a new 175,000-square-foot manufacturing facility expected to be completed in December 2023.
