CiBo Technologies provides a range of software solutions targeting research and development (R&D) agricultural input companies, public sector organizations, and consumer food firms across the agriculture value chain. The company’s main aim is to improve yield and efficiency by suitably managing land space and reducing a customer’s overall wastage and carbon footprint. The company’s platform provides precise decisions such as yield prediction and in-field variability using AI and machine learning. In October 2020, in the midst of the pandemic, the company also launched CIBO Impact, a marketplace for trading carbon credits, becoming the first land management company to do so. In January 2021, the company partnered with carbon credit player Peoples Company to offer carbon credits on more than 20,000 acres of land managed by Peoples Company in the US.
In February 2024, The company announced CIBo’s newest addition to its CIBO Impacts platform, USDA conservation programs solutions which enables grower-focused organizations to help their customers easily apply for USDA programs and stack public and private incentives. In April 2024, CIBO Technologies has also offered organizations to apply for the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) through CIBO Impact, a technology platform that streamlines the application process, reduces program administrative costs, and provides reporting on program impact. It is reported that USDA has allocated USD 1.5 million to scale adoption of conservation and climate-smart agriculture practices.
