Marfrig is a food processing company that offers a wide range of gluten-free foods at the base of meat, oats, and oysters. The company's segment is responsible for the slaughter, manufacture, distribution, import, export. and marketing of beef and lamb meat. It processes beef, pork, lamb and poultry, and produces frozen vegetables, canned meats, fish, ready meals and pasta. Mafrig serves restaurant and supermarket chains and foodservice firms, is divesting its poultry, pork, and fish division as it expands its beef operations (including a newly acquired controlling stake in US-based beef processor National Beef Packing Company). The company focuses on producing and developing multi-protein foods to serve global restaurant chains, including McDonald's, Subway, ConAgra Foods, Campbell's Soup, KFC, Taco Bell, Wendy's, Heinz, and Burger King, among others. Marfrig was founded in 200 and is headquartered in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
