Campus.edu is an accredited college offering associate degrees and certificate programs through both online and in-person formats. The company's mission is to make community college education more accessible and affordable across the US. Campus.edu's online degree programs, known as Campus Scholars programs, are taught by a network of professors who also teach at prestigious universities and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) such as Princeton, Spelman, NYU, and Vanderbilt. The company provides students with resources to ensure their academic success, including free laptops, WiFi, unlimited tutoring, and individual support coaches. Campus.edu's tuition is set below the maximum Pell Grant award, allowing many students to avoid out-of-pocket expenses. As of May 2023, the company had approximately 850 enrolled students, with over 80% being female and many from underrepresented populations. Most Campus.edu students also work at least 10 hours a week. In 2022, Campus.edu acquired MTI College, a Sacramento-based institution founded in 1965, with approval from its accreditor, the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC).
