Accel, along with Updata Partners who is an existing investor, also joined in the funding round. The recent fund collection has sent CData's valuation soaring past the USD 800 million mark.
 CData intends to use this newfound wealth to hasten investments in an array of areas. These areas include novel data integration solutions, operations, product development, and their go-to-market strategy. They are directing these efforts to better assist their customers with contemporary data initiatives as well as AI/ML strategies.
