Mio

Mio is a company that facilitates interoperability between communication platforms like Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, and Zoom. It offers solutions such as Directory Sync, Chat Sync, and File Sync to enable cross-platform communication and collaboration without changing existing workflows. Mio is focused on security, ensuring that it never stores messages or files. It automates user identity syncing and is recognized as Google’s official interoperability partner.

The company’s clientele includes notable companies such as Broadcom, MoneyGram, and Talcott. 

In April 2024, Mio partnered with SADA, the cloud solutions provider for Google Workspace customers, to deliver a combination of software and services designed specifically for organizations with hybrid collaboration environments.  

Funding and Financials

In December 2021, Mio ​​raised USD 8.7 million in Series A funding co-led by Zoom and Cisco Investments, with participation from Goldcrest Capital, Eniac Ventures, and Two Sigma Ventures. The funds were earmarked for product development, which includes adding support for platforms such as Google Chat, Facebook Workplace, and Symphony.
