Drone Volt

Drone Volt is a French company specializing in the development and production of professional civilian drones and embedded artificial intelligence systems. The company designs and manufactures drones for various civil applications in industries such as energy, construction, security, and agriculture. Drone Volt's drones are equipped with advanced technologies, including integrated artificial intelligence capabilities.

One of Drone Volt's key offerings is the Heliplane, a hybrid drone that combines the vertical takeoff and landing capabilities of a multirotor drone with the endurance and payload capacity of a fixed-wing aircraft. The Heliplane can fly for 90 minutes with a 1 kg payload and requires only a small area of one square meter for takeoff and landing.

In addition to its flagship Heliplane model, Drone Volt also offers the Hercules 20, a heavy-lift drone capable of carrying a payload of up to 20 kg. The company continuously expands its product range, introducing new models like the DRONE VOLT KOBRA, showcased at the Eurosatory defense and security exhibition in June 2024.

Drone Volt reported a significant 74% growth in turnover in 2023, reflecting the company's success in serving high-profile clients such as the French Army and international government agencies. As of March 2024, Drone Volt's share price was EUR 0.06, with a market capitalization of EUR 22.88 million.

In March 2022, Drone Volt acquired the assets of the Danish company Viking Drone, strengthening its research and development capabilities with technologies that will be integrated into its unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Additionally, in January 2022, Drone Volt acquired Skytools, a Dutch supplier of professional drone systems and associated services, further expanding its presence in Europe.
