VitaminLab is a health and wellness company that creates customized vitamins and supplements based on individual needs and preferences. The company claims to be using 100% artificial filler-free ingredients with no magnesium stearate or titanium dioxide from European, North American, and other suppliers. The products are manufactured in VitaminLab’s in-house NSF GMP-certified manufacturing facility. It is claimed that all of the formulations are tested thrice in the production process: When raw materials are received, during production, and in the final product.

The personalized supplements are catered to each individual based on actionable health data: Blood, DNA, urine, or health. To enable this, VitaminLab accepts all forms of blood and DNA testing from many of the major companies, including 23&Me, Ancestry, telleGen, and MyHeritageDNA. Additionally, its online quiz asks a series of questions to gather information on diet, lifestyle, health history, and health goals.

The company ships personalized formula to customers every month or every quarter, depending on the option selected. The supplements can be chosen in the form of either vegetable capsules or powder for formula. The company is shipping to over 20 countries as of October 2023.

Funding and financials

In May 2023, VitaminLab closed a Series A investment round of undisclosed amount co-led by Nimbus Synergies and DSM Venturing. The funds were intended for use in the financing expansion of its facilities and automation lines, as well as scale its go-to-market activities across North America.
