The CloudZero platform integrates data from cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure) and software platforms (New Relic, Databricks, Snowflake, MongoDB) to provide a holistic overview of an organization’s cloud spend in a unified common data format. Its data model provides granular-level information with imperfect tagging for cloud spend allocation, business metric mapping, cost predictability, waste elimination, and guardrail development.

CloudZero transforms its customers' costs into Dimensions, such as products, customers, and features, thereby simplifying organization processes and increasing flexibility and accuracy.

CloudZero operates with a direct sales model.

CloudZero’s customer base largely consists of technology companies, including Malwarebytes, Drift, SeatGeek, and Remitly.

Funding and financials

CloudZero raised USD 32 million in a Series B funding round in June 2023 led by Innovius Capital and Threshold. The funds were earmarked to bolster the expansion of CloudZero’s platform and expedite its go-to-market efforts, aimed at enhancing savings insights and self-service analytics.
