Knak is a Canadian company that offers a drag-and-drop, no-code content creation platform to design marketing campaign emails and landing pages. Knak integrates with third-party marketing automation platforms such as Adobe Campaign, Adobe Marketo Engage, Oracle Eloqua, Oracle Responsys, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Salesforce Pardot, and allows users to collaborate, review, and flag changes in real time.
The platform also includes proprietary technology that indicates whether the email or landing page has all essential elements such as preview text, subject lines, and links. Additionally, Knak provides free Marketo and Eloqua email and landing page templates.
As of November 2021, the platform served thousands of users in marketing teams at several companies, including global companies such as Google, Citrix, Roche, DISH Network, Slack, Purestorage, Foursquare, and Databricks, and large pharmaceutical companies. It has reportedly built over 100,000 emails.
Following years of bootstrapping, Knak raised USD 25 million in a Series A funding round led by Insight Partners, in November 2021. The company intends to invest the funds to expand the company’s employee base, establish a channel program, and invest in product development and marketing.
