CollegeVine is an AI company focused on transforming recruitment strategies for colleges, universities, and other educational institutions. The company's flagship product is an AI-powered recruiter that enables personalized, one-on-one engagement with prospective students at scale. Launched in May 2024, this agentic AI technology, called Trellis, allows universities to train their own AI recruiter to interact with students across multiple communication channels, including phone calls, text messages, emails, direct mail, and even custom merchandise. The AI operates simultaneous workflows across hundreds of thousands of prospects, learning from each interaction and determining the next best steps to move students along the enrollment path. As of July 2024, 50 partner institutions had adopted CollegeVine's AI recruiter within two months of its release.

CollegeVine's platform also includes other tools to aid in the college admissions process. The company offers Ivy, an AI counselor, tutor, and "superconnector" designed to help students build school lists, explore majors, understand admission chances, prepare for standardized tests, write college essays, and find scholarships. Additionally, CollegeVine provides the Student Environment Explorer, a free recruitment tool launched in July 2023 to help enrollment teams build diverse classes while complying with new admissions regulations following changes to race-conscious admissions policies.
