LogPoint leverages its user and entity behavior analytics (UEBA) and security information and event management (SIEM) platform to deliver automated cyber threat detection and response. The company’s platform hunts for advanced persistent threats (APT) across data sources to strengthen cyber defense through risk-based prioritization. The company has a partner base of around 50 managed security service providers (MSSPs) and security operations centers (SOCs), and operates in nine countries across the US, Europe, and Asia. Notable customers include Airbus, GoSecure, and Boeing.
In September 2021, the company acquired SecBI (Security Business Intelligence), an automated threat detection and response startup, for an undisclosed amount.
Based in Israel, SecBI provides an extended threat detection and response (XDR) solution that combines siloed protection products across the network, cloud, and endpoints, and applies machine learning and behavioral analysis to support security analysts with comprehensive reporting to detect threats and automate response. SecBI’s XDR platform is vendor-agnostic and is available for internal security operations centers (SOC) and managed security service providers (MSSPs).
The company also offers a Managed XDR solution that employs SecBI experts to identify and provide remediation for indicators of compromise (IOC) using historical data sets and data points from the company’s proprietary analytics engine. LogPoint integrates SecBI’s security orchestration and automated response (SOAR), and XDR capabilities into its SIEM platform, to enable customers to eliminate false positive alerts through automated incident response playbooks that can be executed when threats are detected.
In September 2020, the company raised USD 30 million in a Series B funding round led by Digital+ Partners. The company utilized the funds to support the company’s growth, expand into new markets, and develop its SIEM and UEBA solutions.
