<p>SenseTime has released the advanced version of its multimodal model, named SenseNova 5.5. This updated model has improved upon its previous version, SenseNova LLMs, which was acclaimed for its impressive performance, showing a 30% improvement.</p>
<p>In addition to these performance enhancements, SenseNova 5.5 advances with a new feature - an improved and economically feasible large model for Edge computing. This significant advancement has resulted in a substantial cut-down in annual costs, reducing it to a mere RMB 9.90 (equivalent to USD 1.36) for each device. </p>
<p>Notably, the highlights of SenseNova 5.5 do not end at performance and cost-efficiency. According to recent reports, this model has demonstrated superior performance compared to GPT-4 in more than half of the critical benchmarking metrics, specifically in five out of the eight key aspects.</p>
