KORE Power offers both nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) and lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery chemistries, along with its own battery management system. KORE Power is currently constructing the KOREPlex, a 1.3 million square foot manufacturing facility in Buckeye, Arizona. Once operational, the plant will have an initial annual production capacity of six GWh of battery cells, with the potential to expand to 12 GWh. The facility is expected to begin commercial production by the end of 2024 or early 2025. In June 2023, KORE Power received a conditional commitment for an USD 850 million loan from the US Department of Energy's Loan Programs Office to support the construction of the KOREPlex.
