UK-based Wrisk provides a platform for insurers to launch and scale digital insurance products. The platform is white-labeled and offers a digital solution to be implemented across customer care, claims, and policy administration functions. Wrisk’s offerings also include “Wrisk Score,” a proprietary scoring system similar to credit scores that indicate individual insurance risk. Wrisk counts insurers such as Allianz and Munich Re as its customers. The company implemented its first usage-based insurance product with British insurer RAC along with several cross-industry partnerships with companies such as BMW and Mini to provide complimentary vehicle insurance.

In May 2021, Wrisk raised approximately GBP 4.6 million (USD 6.5 million) in Series A funding led by QBN Capital, with participation from Guinness Asset Management and Cell Rising Capital. The company expects to direct the funds toward growing its team, scaling its platform, and widening the company’s reach via partnership deals with more automotive brands.
